Gorillas rule this part of the world.
From where I come from, my home country Uganda. The East receives the beauty of the sun and then spreads it in abundancy to the North, South and finally meets the backs of long horned herds of cattle in the Western part of The pearl of Africa.
The west is a natural habitat for a large percent of
Uganda’s wildlife species. With rare, endangered, and almost extinct wildlife
that can only be seen in the East African Savannah lands, tropical rain
forests and wetlands of Uganda.
The most iconic of these species are the endangered mountain Gorillas.
Gorillas conquered impenetrable rain forests shared amongst
three East African community countries; Uganda, Rwanda then crossed over to the
Democratic Republic of Congo. Other Gorilla species of the world can be found
in the extreme part of Equatorial Africa. But whenever you think
about “Mountain Gorillas”, the conquered lands of East Africa await.
Nationals in the three countries have continuously been
recognized amongst the most welcoming people in the world by international
publications. I believe it’s due to the gentle nature they continue inheriting from
our close relatives hidden away in the rainforests of South Western Uganda.
Gorillas ruled this part of the world with love and harmony
which also spread like wildfire in the lives of communities around gazeted
areas. Community activities have been curbed to the least possible disturbance
of the giant’s natural habitat. To their natural habitat, you get a good dose of getting fit as your trek for
hours before setting eyes on any of their still existing families.
The last glimpse of evening hours after your trek spread the setting beauty
of the sun on the backs of joyful children carrying water for household
activities after their whole day at school, while the men and women from
different Batwa clans spin their heads while flying to and from the sky off
their feet to traditional music while others sip local brew.
